Posters, social media, catalogue and printed matter for group show at Kyan, Athens. The gallery sought a cohesive visual identity that embodied the exhibition’s central theme of hope and optimism. The identity centred around a distinct typographic composition with the names of the participating artists arranged to grow upwards as if sprouting from the ground, echoing the overarching message of collective growth and resilience.

Cornflowers (Centaurea Cyanus) were chosen as a subtle visual motif, aligning with the theme as a historical symbol of hope and resilience. The cornflower’s connection to the gallery’s name further enriched its significance. Images of the flower were integrated into the visual identity as textures and background patterns, adding depth and subtle symbolism to the designs.

The visual identity featured a monochromatic palette of rich blue, inspired by the natural hue of the cornflower and the serenity associated with the color. All printed materials, including posters and catalogues, were riso printed, imbuing the designs with a tactile, artisanal quality, while the slight imperfections of the printing process added to the organic feel of the project.
